Commodore Gaming Announces Plans to Enter Mobile Games Market in Distribution Deal With Telcogames

Amsterdam, London, – Commodore Gaming outlines its vision in the mobile games market at the 3GSM mobile conference in Barcelona and announces Telcogames as its preferred supplier of mobile games content.

Commodore Gaming, the new mobile, PC and video games joint venture between Commodore International Corporation and The Content Factory B.V., is preparing to roll-out a line of digital content touch screen MediaTowers in mobile phone and game retailers across Europe during 2006. The plan is to open new channels for delivering digital media content, which can include video, music, games and business applications for mobile phones and handheld devices.

“The mobile games market is set to grow from a €1.7 billion industry in 2005 to almost €7 billion by 2010. Such a rapid evolution in the market will inevitably create opportunities for innovative and responsive companies that are willing to push existing boundaries and bring mobile games to the attention of the mass market at the retail level,” explains Bala Keilman, CEO of Commodore Gaming.

“We believe that the revolution in handheld media devices, which includes the new generation of mobile phones will demand a variety of simple, user-friendly ways for consumers to download content. Mobile phones have inherent difficulties in the way content can be searched and discovered by users, and we believe that offering this content in retail stores on a 17” touch screen will help educate and encourage consumers to try mobile games as well as other types of content.”

The slim line, brushed aluminium MediaTower will enable consumers to download mobile games directly to their mobile phones via Bluetooth®, media cards or USB. “The retail channel has the potential to accelerate the growth of the mobile games market and signing this deal with Telcogames means we will be able to deliver an extensive catalogue of quality content in what we hope will be a long-term and mutually beneficial partnership,” stated Bala Keilman.

Commodore International Corporation announced the launch of an exciting new series of computer products at the Consumer Electronics Show 2009 in Las Vegas, and to allow visitors the chance to experience the new Commodore line of products. The new series of net book products were introduced at the Berlin IFA show in September 2008 to a market response in Europe. Commodore will unveil its new line of 2009 products in the multimedia internet devices category at the CES 2009 show. Commodore will introduce the F and J Series net books that both have 10.1-inch screens. The F-series is unique designed with high quality covers and a keyboard that is about 85% of the size of a full keyboard, whilst the J-series is more designed for mobile business users, have an additional super fast E-Sata USB port for friendlier data back-up transfer and includes and a near full size keyboard. Both machines are powered by Via C7 / C8 or Intel Atom processors. The net book computers are about an inch thick weighs about three pounds and shipped with Windows XP. It comes with 1 and 2 Gb internal memory, 160 GB hard disk, built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and three USB ports for connecting to other multimedia devices for connecting to photos, video, music and HDD back-up. Optional is an external slim line optical drive and a HDD back-up device, special designed for the net book product line. As a special product Commodore also developed the M-series, a Mini-Net book, designed for the worldwide One PC per Child Initiative. It comes in 2 models, the M-450R and M-400. Both models have a 7 inch LCD screen. The M-450R is built to run on Win XP or Win CE on RDC 800Mhz CPU with 512MB DDR, equipped with 4GB SSD (Solid State Drive) storage, WiFi, Web Cam, standard 80 keys keyboard and touchpad. The M-400 runs on Linux uses the Intel Xscale 366 Mhz CPU, 128MB memory with IGB SSD, and comes equipped with WiFi, standard 80 Key-Keyboard and touchpad. The M-series is available in different colors.

Commodore International Corporation and Asiarim Corp. Announce Joint Venture Agreement

Commodore International Corporation and Asiarim Corp. announced that they have entered into a 50/50 joint venture agreement to facilitate the manufacturing and distribution of a range of computer products under the brand name of 'Commodore' for the territories of Asia and Africa. Under the terms of the joint venture agreement and exclusive trademark license agreement, CIC will contribute the exclusive license brand to Asia and Africa for a period of 5 years plus an automatic extension of a further 5 years, and Asiarim will contribute up to a maximum of $7 million. CIC shall also have the right to exchange its 50% interests in the joint venture for 50% interests in Asiarim, subject to the joint venture company achieving certain sales conditions. The joint venture company shall be responsible for providing sourcing and development of new products for CIC and its affiliates worldwide, and the market and distribution of Commodore branded products in Asia and Africa.

FOOTHILL RANCH, Calif. -- Commodore International Corporation (CIC) (OTC:CDRL) announced today that it has signed a share purchase agreement with Nedfield N.V. in the Netherlands ("Nedfield") regarding the sale and transfer of 51% of the outstanding shares in the capital stock of Commodore International B.V., a limited liability company construed under the laws of The Netherlands holding the rights to the trademark "Commodore".

This transaction is the first and important step in the proposed overall refinancing and restructuring plan of CIC as presented by the board to the shareholders in the Special Shareholders Meeting held in Amsterdam on April 25, 2008.
