(CercleFinance.com) - Dassault Systèmes and Airbus APWorks GmbH, a subsidiary of Airbus specialised in 3D metal printing, have announced signing a collaborative partnership agreement to promote the use of the manufacturing additive (3D printing) in large-scale production for the aerospace and defence industries.

This collaboration builds on Dassault Systèmes' 3DExperience platform and the expertise acquired by APWorks in Consulting, engineering and production, so as to promote new developments in the virtual validation of the additive manufacturing process.
